Perinatal, Postpartum, Transitioning from pregnancy to parenthood, and Grief and Loss are all potential groups within the program. Despite the name, men/fathers are welcome!

​Individual, Couples and Group therapy available.

​Perinatal Anxiety and Depression affect about 10% of pregnant women and Postpartum Anxiety and Depression (PPD) affect about 13% of mothers according to the World Health Organization (2018).
Postpartum Psychosis (PPP) affects 1-2 in every 1000 women as well.

Paternal Postpartum Depression affects up to 1-4% of men.

85% of those diagnosed in Canada do not have access to supports because of lack of resources and funding. Let’s change that!

Parenting Music Therapy Interventions

  • Songwriting (self-expression)
  • Improvisation (freedom; self-expression)​
  • Mindfulness
  • Art/drawing (self-expression)
  • Lyric analysis (insight)

Session Information

Individual and Couples Sessions are available throughout the year. Once the assessment is complete and you wish to continue with MT, a commitment of 3 sessions is required. A contract will be signed with an outline of services, interventions and cost.
Sessions can be weekly, biweekly, or monthly and are 50 minutes in length. Other session lengths are available upon request (from 30min to 1h20). 

Groups are available when registration allows. Groups run with 6-8 people and run for 6 weeks. Clients will receive a workbook as well as part of the program. 


There are multiple methods of payment, which can be discussed when sessions begin. Client will receive a monthly invoice and receipt.
